Joan Trosper

Joan Ruth (Canelle) Trosper passed peacefully on Sunday August 26, 2018. She married Orville W. "Mike" Trosper on July 5th, 1953 in Danville, Illinois. He was the love of her life. He preceded her in death in 2003. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Josephine (Palmer) Canelle and 2 sisters and survived by one sister. Surviving her are four children, Tom Russian of Oakwood, Debra Trosper of Danville, Jill (Gene) Landers of Danville and Dan Trosper of Florence, Ky., 4 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren. She enjoyed life, family and friends. She loved softball, bowling, fishing, cards and discovered her passion for golf n her later years as well as working crossword puzzles. A celebration of Joan's life will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 11:00AM at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville with Tony Goss officiating. Visitation will be held from 9-11AM prior to the service. Burial will take place at Danville National Cemetery.
