Jo Ann Laverne Cary

Jo Ann Laverne Cary, 71 of Danville passed away at 6:30 AM July 24, 2004 at North Logan Health Care in Danville. She was born December 27, 1932 in Durant, OK. the daughter of the late Henry H. and Rosie Lee (Dilbeck) Clover. Jo Ann married Dale Meredith Cary July 3, 1949 in Calera OK. They have just celebrated their 55th year of marriage. Survivors include 2 sons; Ronald (Deborah) Cary of Geneseo, IL. and Bruce (Betty) Cary of Danville. 1 stepsister Sue Hall of Wyoming. 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 1 brother and 3 sisters. Jo Ann had worked at Sears as a cashier and a produce clerk for Kroger. Jo Ann and Dale have spent the last 20 winters in North Naples Fl. She was a leader in aerobic aqua exercises, very involved in shuffleboard activities, and crafts of all sorts. Jo Ann dearly loved her children and grandchildren.
