Jo Ann Chounard

Sadorus - Jo Ann Chounard, 63, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2017 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL. She was born on April 9, 1953 in Greenville, South Carolina to Robert William and Lois Ruth (Bevington) Birtcher. Jo Ann married Richard D. Chounard on May 5, 1976 in Rantoul, IL. Jo Ann is survived by her children Amanda (Robert) Deedrick and Richard J. Chounard; grandchildren Lenny, Audrey, Olivia, Cloee, and Logan; brothers Robert Charles (Maureen) Birtcher and William A. (Joyce) Birtcher; close aunt Doris Boyer; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles; and her cat Turbo. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents. Services for Jo Ann will be private. Cremation rites have been accorded through Sunset Funeral Home, 710 N Neil St. Champaign, IL 61820.
