Jimmy Vance

Jimmy E. Vance of Danville passed away on January 31, 2010 at Wishard Memorial Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. Jimmy was born February 12, 1953 in Danville son of Russell and Yoneko Ruby Kawabuta Vance. Survivors include three children: James Russell Vance, Kourtni Lynn Vance, and Nathan Beau Vance; brothers: Daniel and Tommy Vance; grandchild: Kaden L. Vance; girlfriend Dena White, and his beloved dog Sally. He was preceded in death by his father and brother Robert. Jimmy was a 71 graduate of Danville High School and had worked as a career truck driver. Jimmy enjoyed fishing, camping, mushroom hunting, traveling, but, most of all he loved spending time with his family, friends, and especially his only grandchild. A Celebration of Jimmys Life will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, February 6, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center 3940 N. Vermilion St. Danville, IL. Visitation will be held from 1-3 pm Saturday afternoon at the funeral home. Following the service, he will be laid to rest at Walnut Corner Cemetery in Bismarck.
