Jimmy Leroy Juvinall, age 73, of Danville, passed away at 8:50 am on Monday, September 1, 2008 at the Watseka Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Watseka, IL. He was born on March 30, 1935 in Danville, IL the son of Banner Joseph and Susanna (Edwards) Juvinall. He married Darlene E. Johnson on October 31, 1953 in Danville. She preceded him in death on May 30, 1995. Jimmy is survived by his five daughters: Sharon (Larry) Simmers Juvinall of Danville, Kathy (Gregorio) Acuna Juvinall of Danville, Phyliss (Ramon) Hernandez Juvinall of Georgetown, Peggy (John) Nichols Juvinall and Brenda Juvinall both of Hoopeston; one brother: Marvin Stanley (Loretta) Juvinall of Danville; twenty one grandchildren and twenty five great grandchildren all of the Danville area; and special friends: Millie and John Butler of Danville, Noble Lewis of Danville, and Ann Hamilton of Danville. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a infant nephew: John; one brother: Jerry Juvinall, a sister: Imagene Hilleary Juvinall; a brother in law: Ray Hilleary, a sister-in-law: Lola Ann Juvinall, and two special friends: Jack Butler and Gene Hamilton. Jimmy worked for Shepherd Lincoln Mercury for seventeen years as an auto body and paint repair man. He then worked for Green Chevrolet. He enjoyed picking black berries and stock car racing. Jimmy enjoyed vacationing, swimming, and eating watermelon. He will be sadly missed by his many family and friends. A graveside service celebrating the life of Jimmy Juvinall will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, September 6, 2008 at Oakhill Cemetery with Pastor Gary Arivett officiating.
