Jimmie Nichols

Jimmie Nichols, 89, of Chrisman, IL, passed away at 9:25am, Sunday, June 11, 2023, at his home. He was born on February 26, 1934, in Ridge Farm, IL, the son of Cliff and Ethel {Banta} Nichols. He was married to Karen Bedinger in 1961 until her passing in August of 2020. He is survived by his children, Robert (Tina) Nichols, Penny Angel, and Glen (Shannan) Nichols; his twelve grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and all of his 12 siblings. Jimmie was a Veteran of the US Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post #477 in Chrisman, IL. He worked as a coal miner for many years until retirement. He enjoyed wood working, camping, fishing, and going to tractor pulls. He will be fondly missed by many.
