Jimmie Allen Jameson, 84, of Tilton, Illinois, passed away on November 1st, being cared for by those he loved most.
Jim was born June 16, 1940, in Danville, Illinois, to Nicholas Jameson and Wilma Moreman.
Jim graduated from Danville High School, where he then went on to run his own electrical business, Jameson Electric, for 40 years. This business was later passed down to his son Michael Jameson.
Jim married Pamela Fawn Jameson and together they celebrated 28 years of marriage this year.
Jim loved fishing, mushroom hunting, making sling shots and bird houses, and most of all tinkering on different projects with his grandkids in his basement. He especially loved spending time with those he loved most.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his adoring wife Pam, his loving children Michael Jameson (Dee) and their children Mackenzie, Ashley, Seth, and Grayson; Mark Sells (Kim) and their children Cheyenne, LaKota, Abbie, and Johnathon; Heather Ledesma and her children Isabella, Hannah, and Julian; Shannon Trosper and her children Destini and Brooke; Ryan Trosper and his son Dempsey. He is also survived by his brother Earl “Bill” Silvey II (Billie), his 11 great grandkids, and lots of supportive family and friends who loved him dearly.
He was preceded by Wilma his mother, Nicholas his father, Ronnie his brother, and Joshua his nephew.
Jim will be remembered as a loving Husband, Father, Brother, Papa, Uncle, Son, Cousin, and Friend. He will be remembered as a simple man who loved his family deeply. His family will remember him for being the glue that held it all together. He will be remembered most for his unconditional love that was present without pause and without waiver.
A visitation for Jim will be held from 9AM-10AM on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center 3940 N Vermilion Street in Danville, Illinois. A private burial will take place at a later time.
