Jim Fletcher

James E. Fletcher Oakwood- James E. Fletcher, 78, passed away at home on March 29, 2017. He was born September 30, 1938 the son of Jennie May and Ernest Fletcher. Jim is survived by his four children, Debbie (Todd) Butcher of Oakwood, Jeffrey Fletcher of Lafayette, Jacqueline (Mark) Stone of Peoria, and Jamie King of Oakwood. He has twelve grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Nancy, and two daughters, Kimberly Street and infant Stephanie Fletcher. Jim proudly served in the Marine Corp. He was a heavy equipment operator for Local 841 from 1959-2014. He was an avid sports fan, rooting especially for the Chicago Bulls. Jim enjoyed playing cards, going to The Boat, and spending time with stalking Cat. Graveside services will be held at Sunset Memorial Park 3901 N. Vermilion Danville, Il. 61834 on Monday at 1:00 pm, with Robert Caudill Jr. officiating.
