Jewel Garling

Jewel Faye Garling, 78, of Danville passed away on March 26, 2007 at Colonial Manor nursing home. Jewel was born February 12, 1929 in Bloomington, Illinois daughter of Roy and Ora Jane Atchison Craddock. Survivors include two sons: Mike (Debbie) Garling of Marshall, IL & Allen Garling of TX; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; twin sister Leonna Ogden of Lynch field, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents. Jewel worked as a dietitian in the health care field for many years in the Bloomington area and was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. A Tribute of Jewels Life will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2007 at Sunsets Community & Life Tribute Center, 3550 N. Vermilion St. Danville, IL (formerly Lakeside-Barrick funeral chapel) with Pastor Kent Tibben officiating. Per her and her families wishes she will be cremated.
