Jessie Adams, 86, of Danville, passed away at 11:40 a.m. Tuesday, September 26, 2006 at Danville Care Center. Jessie was born on November 18, 1919 in Blount Township, the daughter of William and Rose (West) Bolton. She married Wayne Adams in November 30, 1971 in Danville. He preceded her in death on March 25, 1988. She is survived by her four nephews- one very special caregiver and nephew James J. Bolton, and his children Ryan and Erin Bolton, Robert (Rosemary) Bolton, Wilbur (Linda) Bolton, Kenneth (Sherrill) Martin all of Danville; two nieces- Mary Ann (Larry) Vance of Danville and Betty (Myron) Cowell of New Mexico; one step-daughter- Delores (Leonard) Green of Bement, Illinois; and several nieces, nephews, and great-great niece and nephew and a great-great-great- niece and nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five brothers- Fred Bolton, Robert Bolton, Leonard Bolton, Edward Bolton, and Joe Bolton. Jessie attended Danville High School. She was a past-member of Union Corner United Methodist Church. Jessie enjoyed crocheting, African violets and watching T.V. Jessie dedicated her time in helping to baby sit and help in raising her nephews and nieces. A celebration of the life of Jessie Adams will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 29, 2006 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, with Pastor Dave Garver. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Springhill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Danville Humane Society or to the donors choice.
