Jessica Rae Hensley

Terre Haute, Ind. - Jessica Rae Hensley, 32, of Terre Haute and formerly of Newport, Indiana, passed away at 11:50 p.m. EDT Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital in Terre Haute. She was born January 19, 1981 in Danville, Illinois, the daughter of Paula Burke Neild and Tony Lewis. She married Kenneth R. Hensley, Jr. on January 2, 2002 in Newport, Indiana. He survives. Also surviving is her daughter, Kenna Rae Hensley of Terre Haute, Indiana; Mother, Paula Neild of Newport, Indiana; Father, Tony Lewis of Newport, Indiana; mother-in-law, Carolyn Hensley of St. Bernice, Indiana; paternal grandmothers, Jane Lewis of Newport, Indiana and Wanda Morris of Cayuga, Indiana; four sisters, Amy(Mike)Weir of Cayuga, Indiana; Bridgette(Bill)Mielke of Rockville, Indiana; Alison Lewis of Newport, Indiana and Adrienne Lewis of O'Fallon, Illinois; half brother, Chad Lewis of Cayuga, Indiana, and several nieces and nephews. Jessica was preceded in death by her step father, Bob Neild. Jessica was a homemaker. She was a 2000 graduate of North Vermillion High School. Jessica enjoyed listening to music, and watching basketball and NASCAR. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Newport Lions Club Building on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 1 p.m. EDT.
