Jerry Shuman

Jerry L. Shuman 78, of Tilton, passed ay at 9:30 am Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Danville Care. He was born September 5, 1938 in Danville. the son of Emery and Geneva Nier Shuman. Jerry is survived by: his son Danny (Janet) Shuman of Danville; two daughters, Amanda Duprey and Jennifer; one brother, Randy (Carla) Shuman of Oakwood; two sisters, Carol Brant of Tilton and Darlene (Mark) Lewis of Danville; two grandchildren, Sarah and Lucas; two great-grandchildren, Lucas and Jacob. He was preceded by his parents and one brother Calvin. Jerry had worked at the former Western Brickyard and later retired from G.M. in Tilton after 23 years, he later worked for Bryant Industries. Jerry enjoyed fishing, going on long car rides and walks. He loved going to the movies and listening to music especially Hank Williams. A celebration of life service for Jerry will be at 2:00pm Tuesday November 29, 2016 at Sunset-Urbas Chapel in Westville. 414 S. State St. Visitation will be 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm prior to the service on Tuesday. Officiating will be Raymie Gordon. Burial will be in Sandusky Cemetery. Jerry's family request that everyone come dressed casually. Memorial donations can be given to donor's choice.
