Jerry Lee Byrd

Perrysville, Ind. - Jerry Lee Byrd, 58, of Perrysville passed away Monday, June 24, 2019 at 10:23 a.m. EDT at Union Hospital in Clinton, Indiana.

He was born April 5, 1961 the son of the late Robert Joseph and Wanda Mae (James) Byrd.

Jerry is survived by his brother: Joe (Tina) Byrd of Perrysville, Indiana and nephew Bobby Byrd of Perrysville, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents: Joseph and Mame Byrd, his aunt Wilma Byrd and his uncle Sherman Byrd.

Jerry was a 1979 graduate of North Vermillion High School. He worked as a handyman for various farmers in the area along with working construction. He was well known for his ambitious attitude, his knowledge of mechanics and his love for sitting with friends and enjoying a beer with them.

Per his request, cremation has been requested and there will be no services. DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana is caring for the family.
