Jerry L. Bowman

Perrysville, Ind. - Jerry L. Bowman, 70, of Perrysville, passed away at 11:30 p.m. CDT Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at Presence Covenant Medical Center in Urbana, Illinois. Jerry was born November 22, 1943 in Danville, Illinois the son of the late Frank E. and June Dott Hobson Bowman. He married Jackie S. Montague on September 13, 1968 at the Perrysville United Methodist Church. She survives. Other survivors include one brother, Michael(Rebecca)Bowman of Perrysville, Indiana and brother/sister-in-law, Michael(Jean Ann)Montague of Perrysville. Jerry was a former mechanic. . He was a 1962 graduate of Perrysville High School. Jerry enjoyed fishing, hunting (especially deer) and taking care of his yard. Funeral services: Noon EDT Friday, June 13, 2014 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Mike Earlywine; Visitation: 10 a.m. EDT Friday, June 13, 2014 until time of services at the funeral home; Burial: Hicks Cemetery, Perrysville, Indiana.
