Jerry Ray Henk of Danville passed away on March 23, 2016 at his home in Danville, IL. He was born September 3, 1937, the son of John Raymond Henk and Mary Elizabeth (Underwood). Jerry married Carolyn Sue Tevebaugh on November 3, 1956 in Danville, IL. Jerry is survived by his wife, Carolyn; daughters Debbie (Tom) Reese of Westville, Tammy (Mike) Stimac of Danville, Crystal (Kevin) Wilson of Tupelo, MS; sister, Betsy Dillion of Danville; grandchildren, Holly Pasquale, Brian Reese, Kyle Wilson, Kaitlyn Wilson, Michael Stimac, Lindsay Light, Amy Gore; great grandchildren, Layn White, Blake Pate, Adrianne Pate, Kelsey Reese, Bryce Reese, Ruben Carrillo, Kaitlyn Carrillo, Reagan Light, Corbin Light, Addison Gore, Braydon Gore and Karter Stimac. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Janet Henk and grandbaby, Tonya Henk. Jerry enjoyed fishing and camping, he was a Kickapoo woodcarver, avid bowler (300 being his highest game), and was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. He was also a member of the Army Reserve, American Legion and Honor Guard and Immanuel Lutheran Church. Visitation will be held at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home, 4-7 PM, Tuesday, March 29, 2016. Service will be Wednesday at 11 AM. Burial will take place at the Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be made in Jerry's name to Carle Hospice.
