Jerry Frazier

Jerry Frazier, 80, of Danville passed away at 05:51 PM on August 30, 2022 at Pleasant Meadows Senior Care Center in Chrisman, IL.

Jerry was born on September 14, 1941 the son of David and Waneta (Kolaiser) Frazier in Veedersburg, IN. He first married Holly Sever in 1962 until 1989 and later married Vicki Smiley in 1996 and both survive.

Survivors include his wife, Vicki Frazier of Danville, IL, two sons Michael (Jamee Coon) Frazier of Waveland, IN and Kirk Frazier of West Lafayette, IN, a grandson, Austin Coon, nephews, Jim and Jeff Frazier and niece Debbie Frazier as well as one stepsister and two stepbrothers.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, David Frazier.

Jerry served his country proudly in the United Stated Air Force and was a retired Police Officer from the Illiana Veterans Affairs Hospital in Danville, IL. In his younger days he enjoyed swimming, bicycling, and line dancing as well as taking care of his garden.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834. Tracy Thomas will officiate. Burial will be in Danville National Cemetery on Monday, September 12, 2022 at 10:00 AM. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022 from 9-11:00 AM at the funeral home.

Memorial may be made in Jerrys memory to the Second Church of Christ.
