Jerry Clawson

Jerry Clawson, 81, of Danville passed away on February 1, 2011 at Provena USMC Logan Campus. Jerry was born on December 20, 1929 in Veedersburg, Indiana son of James and Stella (Sheets) Clawson. He married Inez Rusk in June of 1955. She survives along with daughter Marlene Johnson and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers, and longtime friends Bob and Christy Cox. He was preceded in death by his parents, twin sons Barry and Larry, and six brothers. Jerry attended schools in Veedersburg, Indiana and later served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, where he was injured. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW, and DAV. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 1:00 pm CST, Monday, February 14, 2011 at the Masonic Cemetery in Waynetown, Indiana with Pastor James Blue officiating.
