Jerry B. Tevebaugh

Jerry B. Tevebaugh, 73, of Danville, passed away at 11:32pm on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, surrounded by his family. He was born in Danville on February 10, 1949, the son of Charles and Margaret Tevebaugh. Jerry married Jacqueline M. {Cunningham} Tevebaugh, she survives.

Also surviving are children, Darin (Keisha) Tevebaugh, Chasity (Brian) Lange, Nicole (Rob) Irick; grandchildren, Landon Frazier, Kendall Tevebaugh, Sydney Tevebaugh, William Irick and sister, Sue Henk.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Robert (Rita) Tevebaugh, Butch (Norma) Tevebaugh and brother-in-law, Jerry Henk.

Jerry graduated from Danville High School before working 26 years for Heatcraft and retiring from Terminix after 10 years. In his younger years Jerry played in a band known as, The Keepers. He was hardworking, enjoyed woodworking and had a knack for fixing anything.

He had a passion for classic cars and liked to attend car shows, his prized possession was his 91 Camaro T-top. In his spare time Jerry could be found watching the Cubs or Illini, working on his yard, or sitting on his front porch with his dogs. He adored his family and loved spending time with them. He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of meeting him.

A Celebration of Jerrys life will take place at 10 on Monday, April 4, 2022, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834. Following the service Jerry will be laid to rest at Allhands Cemetery. Visitation will be held the evening prior from 3pm to 6pm on Sunday April 3, 2022, at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made in Jerrys name to the American Cancer Society.
