Jerry And Linda Crippin

Hoopeston Jerry Lee and Linda Sue Crippin, both 62 and of Hoopeston, IL passed away together on February 15, 2002 at 2:46 PM.

Jerry was born on June 23, 1959 and Linda was born on October 29, 1959 and both were born in Danville, IL. Jerry was born the son of Herbert W. and Carolyn A. (Rector) Crippin and Linda was born the daughter of Keith Marion and Helen Ilene (West) Dolbee. Jerry and Linda were married in the summer of 1980 and spent 42 years together.

Survivors include their children, Starr (David Niccum) Crippin of Danville, IL, Amanda Crippin of Danville, IL and Jerry (Jazzmin Nolen) Crippin, II of Danville, IL, ten grandchildren, Jerrys siblings, Georgia (Rick) Murray of Newman, IL, and Carla (Chris) Powell of South Danville, IL as well as Lindas siblings, Brenda Dolbee of Bismarck, IL and Diane Dolbee of Harding, KY.

Jerry and Linda are both preceded in death by their parents and one grandson, Kaleb Crippin. Linda is also preceded in death by her brother, Danny Keith Dolbee.

Jerry and Linda were inseparable and even worked together at a truck stop for many years. They both enjoyed taking care of their family and spending time with their grandchildren. They also enjoyed their television programs together.

A combined Celebration of Life for Jerry and Linda will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61832. Private family burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, from 5-7:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
