Jerry Allen Messmore

Bismarck - Jerry Allen Messmore, 25, of Bismarck passed away at 4:22 PM on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville. He was born on February 26, 1989 in Corpus Christi, TX, the son on Laramie Allen and Linda Cheryl (Redding) Messmore. They survive. Also surviving are his fianc, Tiffany Whorrall of Bismarck; two children, Brayden Allen and Romie Annmarie Messmore; two brothers, Dallas and Austin Messmore; sister, Kristina Messmore; two grandfathers,Terry Messmore and Gerald Redding; and two great-grandparents, Bob Messmore and Vivian “Gommy” Robinson; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by two grandmothers, Sandra Martin and Judy Messmore. Jerry was a Class of 07 graduate of Bismarck-Henning High School and had attended classes at DACC. He was currently working at Andi Maes Ice Cream Shoppe in Bismarck, but was also with the cable company and YR Tires. Jerry loved wrestling and football in High School, barbecuing on the grill, and the Green Bay Packers. He was very social and had many friends, but his real passion was being a father to his two children. Jerrys family will accept friends and family for a visitation to celebrate his life from 4-8 PM on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville. Cremation rites will follow. Memorials may be made to Jerrys two children c/o the Education Personnel Federal Credit Union in Danville.
