Jerrold L. Mcbeath

Lodi, Ind. -- Jerrold L. McBeath, 72, of Lodi, Indiana, passed away at 8:30 a.m. EDT Monday, June 8, 2009 at his residence in Lodi. Jerrold was born January 17, 1937 in McKendree Township in Vermilion County, Illinois to the late Seth Arnold and Nellie Dunavan McBeath. He married Diana J. Hinkle on June 28, 1998 in Eugene, Indiana. She survives. Other survivors include: one son, Jerry McBeath of Newport, Indiana; one daughter, Julie Edwards of Sylvania, Georgia; Step Children, Tammy(Todd)York of Cayuga, Indiana; Billy(Nicole)Brook of Fairland, Indiana; Lori Carlton of Kingman, Indiana; Freddy(Linda)Brook of Flat Rock, Indiana and Vivian(John Hinchman)Brook of Covington, Indiana; 3 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 12 step grandchildren; one sister, Peggy(Don)Steele of Lodi, Indiana. Jerrold was a farmer and also raised livestock. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Jerrold was a member of the Izaak Walton League in Clinton, Indiana. He enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. Cremation was requested. A memorial service will be held at a later date. DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana in charge of arrangements.
