Jerelyn 'Jerry' Arnett

Jerelyn 'Jerry' Arnett, 92, of Danville passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at North Logan Healthcare in Danville. She was born on May 12, 1928, to Ralph Hughes and Jewell (Sechrest) Hughes in Danville. She married Edward Arnett in November of 1946.

Jerelyn is preceded in death by both of her parents and her husband, Ed.

Survivors include her daughter Sharon (Kenneth) Howard; granddaughter, LaDell Hughes; great grandchildren, Leah (Roger) Moore and Lindsey (Cory) Booher; and great great grandchildren, Trinity, Trevor, Lily, and Chase.

Jerelyn attended Southside Church of Christ and the United Church of Christ in Tilton, which she occasionally played the piano. She liked to go on trips to Branson, Missouri, loved music and dogs, but most of all she loved her family. Jerelyn was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be missed dearly.

A private family service will be at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834. Any condolences may be sent to 213 S. Stewart St Danville, Illinois 61832. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Jerelyns name to a charity of your choice.
