Jenny L Green

Jenny L. Green, 66, of Rantoul passed away after long fight with cancer on Dec. 14, 2023, at her home, surrounded by friends.

She was born Nov. 26, 1957, in Urbana, a daughter of Irene Green Richey, she was lovingly raised by her grandmother Beatrice “Beady” Green.

She is survived by three brothers, Jimmy Green, Scott Richey and Alex Richey and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Granny Green; her mother; as well as a sister, Jerri.

Jenny was a 1976 graduate of Rantoul Township High School. She bartended for many years in Rantoul and later worked through Manpower at local factories. She loved a good time and celebrating holidays. She will be greatly missed by all her friends and family and her long-time companion, Mike Bock.

A gathering of family and friends will be on Wednesday, Jan.3, 2024, from 5 to 6 p.m. at Lux Memorial Chapel, 1551 E. Grove, Rantoul.
