Jeffrey W. Chapman

Covington, Ind. -- Jeffrey W. Chapman, 45, of Covington, passed away at 10 a.m. EST Monday, February 16, 2009 at St. Clare Medical Center in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Jeffrey was born May 7, 1963 in Danville, Illinois the son of Tom and Janet Harshbarger Chapman. He married Coletta J. Weaver on September 20, 1986 in rural Covington, Indiana. She survives. Other survivors include: two daughters, Tina(Roger)Holmes and Abby Chapman both of Covington, Indiana; his parents, Tom(Janet)Chapman of Covington, Indiana; two grandchildren, Ali and Eli Holmes; one sister, Ronda(Shane)Bowling of Covington, Indiana; two brothers, Ron(Anna)Chapman of Covington, Indiana; Jimmy(Karen)Chapman of Attica, Indiana and many special friends. Jeffrey was a caster technician at NUCOR in Crawfordsville, Indiana. He was a 1981 graduate of Covington High School. Jeffrey enjoyed working on tractors, cutting wood and shooting guns. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Funeral services: 2 p.m. EST Friday, February 20, 2009 at the Cayuga Christian Church, 106 East Walnut Street, Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Rev. Tom Cash; Burial: Coal Creek Cemetery south of Covington, Indiana; Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. EST Thursday, February 19, 2009 at the Cayuga Christian Church.
