Jeffrey Dayton Coffing

Covington-Jeffrey Dayton Coffing, 60, passed away on November 10th, 2016. He was the loving husband of Susan Coffing. They share 38 years of marriage together. Jeff was employed at Covington Community Schools, as well as being known as the community's handyman. He was a member of West Liberty Church of Christ. He enjoyed running, drinking coffee with good friends, and lending a helping hand to anyone in need. He will be remembered for his terrible dad jokes, strong work ethic, and his unconditional love for his family. He was the son of Robert Wayne and Barbara Ann Coffing. He is survived by his wife Susan and their four children: Lindsay Coffing Pursley (Ryan Pursely) and their two children, Molly and Grant Pursley, Bradley Coffing (Jessica West Coffing), Bryant Coffing, and Shellie Coffing. Also, Abe, his best friend with four legs. He was preceded in death by his mother Barbara Coffing. The visitation will be held on Monday, November 14, 2016 from 3-7pm at West Liberty Church of Christ 2806 W State Road 32, Covington, IN 47932.
