Jeffrey Scott Davis

Jeffrey Scott Davis, 62, of Danville, IL passed away at his home on November 29, 2025 at 12:59 PM. He was surrounded by his family.

Jeffrey was born on February 17, 1963 the son of Robert Davis and JoAnna (Tapscott) Osborn in Danville, IL. He was previously married to Melinda Davis with whom he shared children.

Survivors include his mother, JoAnna Osborn of Danville, IL, five children, Brittany (Troy) Savalick of Danville, IL, Joshua (Lindsey) Davis of Lebanon, TN, Candace (Casey) Lindsey of Acworth, GA, and Rebeka (Ben) Taylor of Nashville, TN. Jeffrey is also survived by seven grandchildren as well as his significant other, Synthia (Sam) Mayer Huff, and two siblings, Todd (Rachel) Davis of Danville, IL and Randy (Kelley) Davis of Covington, IN.

Jeffrey is preceded in death by his father, Robert Davis and his stepfather, Terry Osborn.

Jeffery worked as a truck driver for most of his life before obtaining his degree in Information Technology. He worked hard to take care of his family, enjoyed listening to classic country music, especially Merle Haggard, and going fishing. Most of all, Jeffrey loved spending time with his grandbabies.

Private family services will be held and Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834 is assisting the family with arrangements.
