Jeffrey Allen Price

Jeffrey Allen Price, 49, of Hicksville, Ohio, died January 17, 2015, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born December 13, 1965, in Aurora, Illinois, the son of Luanne (Robert) Fogelman Jarvis and the late Jerald Price. He graduated from Westville High School in Westville, IL and attended Danville Area Community College in Danville, IL and Ivy Tech Community College in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Mr. Price was a retired entrepreneur. He was the former owner of 2-4-1 Pizza in Westville and Danville and Cabinet Guys in Phoenix, Arizona. He also worked as a mortgage broker. He was a volunteer for the Northeastern Center in Kendallville, Indiana and tutored jail inmates in adult education subjects. He attended Lifeline Connect Church in Hicksville. He was a member of the Fraternity of Eagles. Jeff was an avid fan of the Arizona Cardinals football team. He enjoyed fishing, playing music and singing. He was a talented poet and artist. He is survived by: his daughter, Tylor Price of San Diego, California; his sons, Ryan Price of Fort Wayne and Kyle Price of San Diego; sister, Darcy (Niles) Vance of Kendallville, Indiana; stepsister, Stacey (Ron) Howe of Catlin, Illinois; stepbrother, Brad (Lisa) Jarvis of Catlin; as well as several beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by a stepbrother, Steve Jarvis. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 24, 2015, at 2:00pm, at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, Westville, Illinois, with visitation one hour before the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are invited to: Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance, The Northeastern Center, or the no-kill animal shelter of the donors choice.
