Jeff Mullendore

Jeff Mullendore, 73, of Newport, IN, passed away at 2:33pm, Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at his home. He was born on May 27, 1951, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the son of John and Betty {Brown} Mullendore, both deceased. He is survived by his daughter, Sara Mullendore (David Hall); his grandchildren, William Cody Davis and Taylor Lynn Wood; his siblings, Melony (Jim) Cline and Jon (Terrye) Mullendore; and his nephews, Christopher and Dalton. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ricky Mullendore. Jeff graduated from North Vermillion High School. He worked as a machinist for many years and was proud of his trade and that fact that he learned from his father. He loved to go bass fishing and just being out on the boat with family and friends. He taught himself by ear to play the guitar and loved to play at parties. He enjoyed camping and also riding his Harley. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. A celebration of Jeffs life will be held 6:00pm, Thursday, September 28, 2023, at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center, DeVerter Chapel, 215 N. Division Street, Cayuga, IN 47928. Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 6:00pm on Thursday at the funeral home prior to his service. Memorial donations may be given in his name to the donors choice of charity.
