Jeannie A. Bunting

Jeannie A. Bunting, 88, of Danville passed away at 7:00pm on Friday, April 20, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on January 4th 1930, in Waynestown, IN, the daughter of Glenn and Anna (Crabtree) McDonald. She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Carla Bailey; her former husband of twenty-seven years, Dan Bunting; grandchildren, Sam Bunting, Heaven, Hope, Glorie and Grace Bailey; her loving companion Paco. She was preceded in death by her parents Glenn and Anna (Crabtree) McDonald, her half-sister Dorothy Cunningham; two sons, Leslie and Randy Bunting; grandson, James Leslie Bunting; granddaughter, Jessica Lynn "Teenie" Bunting. Jeannie enjoyed gardening, reading thrillers, and painting. She had a caring heart and a compassion for birds. She enjoyed bird-feeders and making sure her feathered friends were well taken care of. She was a loving grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren baking pies and cakes. A celebration of Jeannie's life will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, April, 25 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation center 3940 N. Vermilion, Danville. A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
