Jeanne A. Gilbreath, 81, of Racine, WI, passed away of natural causes December 27, 2011at The Elizabeth Residence in Racine, Wisconsin. Jeanne was born on February 6, 1930 in Danville, IL to John and Helen Biedermann. On November 19, 1949 she was united in marriage to Raymond L. Gilbreath. Jeanne was a proofreader for Recording and Statistical Corp. in Danville, IL for many years. After moving the family to Fort Worth, Texas she owned and operated a printing business with her husband Raymond. She was a member of the First United Methodist churches in Mineola, Texas, and Racine, Wisconsin. She moved to Racine in 2001 when Raymond's health began to decline and spent her remaining years in Racine. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and a good friend to many people. She enjoyed being with her family and friends and sharing her love of working in the garden, handcrafts such as knitting and cross stitch, and participated in a number of social organizations and outreach programs at her church. She is survived by her children: Robert Gilbreath, and wife Cheryl of Racine, WI and Mae Fleischer, and husband John of Mapleton, OR. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, and her brother Jerry Biedermann of Danville. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Helen, her husband Raymond, and her brother John Brent. A Celebration of Life memorial service for Jeanne will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville with Reverend Randall Robinson officiating.
