Jeanette Elizabeth Hubbard List

Jeanette Elizabeth Hubbard List passed from this life to life eternal with her Heavenly Father on February 23, 2011 at Provena USMC Hospital, Danville Illinois. Jeanette was born in Danville Illinois October 17, 1921 to Frank A. Hubbard and Jennie Crayton Hubbard. She married Glen C. List on July 15, 1943. He preceded her in death December 18, 1988. She married Hershel Wren February 7, 1998 and he preceded her in death December 18, 2001. She attended Cannon School and Danville High School. She worked at several of the sewing factories in the Danville area including Industrial Gloves, Danville Sportswear, Windbreaker Jackets and Westville Jackets. She also worked at several locations of the Grab-It-Here grocery stores. She attended First Assembly of God Church since she was 7 years old and later, Hillery Assembly of God Church. Survivors include 2 children: Marilyn (Kenneth) Young and Michael (Carolyn) List and a daughter-in-law, Joyce Coon. She also is survived by 6 grandchildren: Tracy (Derek) Fenwick, Mark (Jill) List, Joy (Mark) Mason, Crystal Young, Michael List Jr., Malia Gill and Chris Ward. She has 10 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 step-sons " Jerry (Faith) Wren and Larry (Suzie) Wren and their children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant sister, and her 2 husbands and a son, Maurice. She enjoyed camping; especially the winter stays in Florida. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting and playing the piano and for many years played for church services. Visitation will be held at Sunset Funeral Home " Danville on Saturday, February 26, 2011 from 9-11am with service at 11 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Atherton Cemetery. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, a Life Celebration Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be given to the Gideon Memorial Bible Distribution Ministry.
