Jeanette F. Cannavan, 84, of Danville, died at 6:45 a.m. on Wednesday, May 10, 2006 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Danville. She was born June 24, 1921 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Florindo Emilio and Anna (Borcia) Cimaglia. She married Edward G. Cannavan on July 24, 1948 in Chicago, Illinois. He preceded her in death in 1978. Jeannette is survived by one son, Edward J. Cannavan of Danville; three daughters, Gerry Cannavan of Peoria, Illinois, Christine (Michael) Kroll of Danville, and Kathy (George Caan) Matson of Henderson, Nevada; two grandchildren, Kara and Kevin Kroll of Danville. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister, Elizabeth Janis and one brother, Joseph Cimaglia. Jeanette was a sales clerk at Gerrys Fabrics and Fabricland. She loved to sew and do crafts. Jeanette devoted much of her time to her children and grandchildren. She was a member of the Elks Club and St. Pauls Catholic Church.
