Jeanetta Golden

Jeanetta L. Golden Jeanetta L. Golden, 76, passed away at 9:34 am on Friday, May 23, 2008 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Champaign. Jeanetta was born on February 14, 1932 in Mt. Vernon, IL, the daughter of Alonzo and Ruth (Fagan) Morgan. She married her soulmate John L. Golden on August 31, 1974 in Grape Creek. He survives. Other survivors include sons Rusty (Sue) Golden and Charles Joseph Golden, daughters Beverly (Richard) DeBarba, Mary (Warren) Connett, Penny (James) Bunting, Barbara (Ray) Burke and Terry (George) Pate, brothers Lin (Peggy) Morgan and Kenny (Rhonda) Morgan, sister Linda (Butch) Mayhew, grandchildren Rick and Jeff Debarba, Candi Craddock, Todd (Kim) Carroll, Mandy (Tom) Fahey, Megan Falconio, Katie Bunting, Shay Winn, Kristy (John) Dines, Jenna Golden, Ryan (Samantha) Pate, great-grandchildren Rica and Clark Debarba, Marcus and Amber Blankenship, Natasha and Kreisha Watsons, Noah Carroll, Jake, Joe and Camille Fahey and Kinsley Dines, many nieces and nephews, and special friends Roger Craddock and Sarah Baer. Jeanetta was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Alonzo, Robert, and Jerry, and sisters Wanda, Christina, and Rosemary. Jeanetta was an avid Cubs, Bears, and Illini fan. She was an avid Democrat and election judge and was a member of the VFW ladies Auxilliary as well as the Red Hat Society. A memorial service will be held for Jeanetta L. Golden on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at 4 pm at Sunsets Community and Life Tribute Center (Formerly Lakeside-Barrick) located at 3550 N. Vermilion St. in Danville.
