Jean Puzey Prillaman died at Carle Hospital in Urbana, Illinois, while waiting for a liver transplant. Born October 9, 1948, she was the daughter of C. Ronald and Margaret Richards Puzey. Jean was the fourth of six daughters. On the 20th of September, 1966, in Anna, Illinois, she married Tom Prillaman, who survives in rural Potomac. Four beautiful daughters sprang forth, Amy Prillaman of Potomac, Anna (Greg) Jarling of Oakwood and Abby (Neil) Nebughr of Mahomet. Her beautiful little daughter, Allison, died at birth. Jean also leaves behind in her sorrowful wake three sisters, Margaret (Larry) Mariage of Danville, Rosemary (Glen) White of Catlin, and Ronna (Larry) Roberts of Fithian. Two sisters, Marilyn and Judy, preceded her in death. Her beloved grandchildren are Ashley and Ellie Masengale of Potomac, Conor and Gavin Jarling of Oakwood, and Josie and Nolen Cunningham and Cole Nebughr of Mahomet. Jean was a noted seamstress and quilt maker. Every grandchild received a custom made quilt and she also restored several for special friends throughout the years. In the kitchen, few could match her skills and her cherry pies were renowned. Jean became a bee keeper in her later years thanks to the guidance of her special friends, Karen and Larry Pruiett of Penfield. Like a child she awaited the honey harvest and loved giving it all away to her family and many friends. She was a good kid. Her favorite color was blue-matched her eyes.
