Jean began her career working as a roller skate carhop at Steak n’ Shake. Coincidentally, this is where she met her husband, Merle. She then moved on to GE where she was known as the “Queen of GE.” Jean then owned and operated her own business for 35 years, Jeannie’s Beauty Salon. She was an antique car enthusiast and loved restoring them with Merle. She excelled in painting and working on the upholstery during these projects. Jean also loved playing BINGO, was a talented decorator and was always working on various arts and crafts projects, especially if it had anything to do with Christmas. Most of all she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and will be missed dearly.
