Rantoul JD Reynolds Jr., 82, passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at his home in Rantoul, IL. He was born on February 1, 1939 in Harrisburg, IL to JD and Mildred (Rose) Reynolds Sr. JD married Barbara May on June 9, 1957 in Harrisburg, IL.

JD is survived by his children Steven (Sheri) Reynolds, Lynn (Ron) Albertsen, and Jim D (Kathy) Reynolds; grandchildren Ian, Jeremy, Joseph, Courtney, Heather, and Michael; great-grandchildren Justan, Jayton, and Caroline; siblings Wanda Wasson and Lou Cavanaugh. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 3 brothers, and 1 grandson.

JD loved God. He was a Rantoul police officer and retired after over 25 years of service. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Champaign, Illinois 710 N Neil St. Champaign, Illinois 61820.
