Jay Johnson

Jay D. Johnson, 35, of Danville, passed away at 9:40 p.m. Friday October 30, 2009 at Carle Foundation Hospital. He was born on May 16, 1974 in Danville, IL the son of Carl and Vicki (Simmonds) Johnson. Survivors include his parents of Georgetown, his brother, Bryce Johnson of Georgetown, two sisters, Dawn Johnson of Tuscola and Brandi Johnson of Georgetown. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Jay graduated from Georgetown Ridge Farm High School. He was a member of the National Guard before working as a security guard. He loved fishing. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys and St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoyed watching the Price is Right. The family would like to thank the people at Cross Pointe and Carle Hospital for all their help and services.
