Jaxon E. Coleman

Jaxon E. Coleman, 13, of Rantoul passed away at 11:57 p.m. on Friday, July 18, 2025, at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. He was born on November 1, 2011, in Urbana, Illinois, the son of Byron and Danielle (Pritchett) Coleman. Jaxon was cherished dearly by his family and will be remembered for his joyful spirit and infectious smile.

Jaxon loved spending time with family, especially playing with his sister, Korraleigh. He had a vibrant personality that shone through in his hobbies and interests. He liked cars and was an avid fan of Spiderman and Naruto. Jaxon enjoyed watching WWE, often cheering for his favorite, John Cena. He also loved eating ramen and listening to his favorite artists, Post Malone and Maroon 5.

Though his time with us was cut short, the memories of Jaxon will forever linger in the hearts of those who loved him. He leaves behind his parents, Byron and Danielle, and his siblings, Akyra Pritchett, Trevon Coleman, Antonio Coleman, and Korraleigh Coleman.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 28, 2025, at Sunset’s Lux Chapel, 1551 E. Grove Ave., Rantoul, IL 61866. Burial will follow at Gilman Cemetery. A visitation will be held before the service from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
