Jason Cole Culotti, 23, of Danville, Illinois passed away on Sunday, August 2nd, 2020 while doing what he loved, fishing with his dad and friends. Jason was born on December 9th, 1996.
Jason loved sports and played basketball in Jr. High and High school. He was an apprentice in the Carpenters local #243. He excelled to become the best tool partner his dad ever had. He was a loving father; his son Easton was his world and the love of his life. Jason was a loyal friend, the best brother, and an amazing son. He was kind to everyone and was always there to help others. His smile made you smile, and he knew how to make you laugh. He really was the best. Jason is survived by his parents, Denny and Brandy Culotti of Danville, Michelle Morris of Hot Springs, Arkansas; grandparents, Linda Culotti of Danville, Molly Bennett of Hot Springs, Thomas Morris of Hot Springs and Ronald and Kathy George of Findlay, Illinois; a son, Easton Culotti of Danville; two brothers, Dustin Bennett of Hot Springs, Deegan Culotti of Danville; two sisters, Autumn Bennett of Hot Springs and Kyla Culotti of Danville. He is also survived by his many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Thomas Bennett of Hot Springs and Donald Culotti of Hot Springs.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 9, 2020 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834. Services will be officiated by Jasons grandfather, Rev. Ronald C. George of Findlay. There will be a private burial in Springhill Cemetery on Monday. Visitation will be held just prior to the service from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Special thanks to Adam McCloud, Jason Hotsinpiller, the Kickapoo Fire Department, Arrow EMS, and especially the Vermilion County Sheriffs Dive Team.
