Jason Brumett

Danville - Jason Brumett, 43, of Danville passed away on March 30, 2016 at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center. He was born May 30, 1973, the son of Joseph Brumett and Susan Horn. He is survived by his parents; brother, Michael (Ronai) Brumett; sister, Buffi Brumett; aunts, Josie (John) Divan, Phyllis (Bill) Garrett, Norma (Brian) Andrews, Ruth Horn, Kathy (Jay) Roberts; uncles Bruce (Cheryl) Brumett and Brian Horn; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother, Joey Brumett, and his grandparents. Jason was a graduate of Danville High School and his favorite teacher was Kathy Delzell. He loved his family, fishing, tending flowers in his own garden and watching westerns. He will be missed by his dog, "Cinnamon". Jason never knew a stranger and was well known for his strong hugs. A celebration of Jason's life will be held at 10:00 AM April 5, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, IL with Terry Goodwin officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 PM April 4, 2016 at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Mann's Chapel Cemetery in Rossville. Memorials may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation.
