Jarrod Thomas Summers

Jarrod Thomas Summers, 37, of Danville, passed away at his home on June 16, 2016. He was born on August 11, 1978, to James Ronald and Doris {Turner} Summers in Lincoln, IL. Survivors include: his sons, Conner James, Chance Thomas, & Xavier Allen; his daughter, Victoria; his Mother & Stepfather, Doris & Orval Erp of Indianola; his two brothers, Ronald "Heath" Summers and Terrence "TJ" Summers, both of Lincoln; his uncle, Bill Summers of Jacksonville; his aunts, Judy Mosley & Lanice (Bill) Green of Georgetown; numerous nieces, nephews, & cousins; as well as a host of many friends. He was preceded in death by: his father, Ronnie; his brother, James Raymond "Jimmy" Summers; his uncle, Paul Turner; and his grandparents, Lamon & Irene Turner, Olive Mae Rhinerson, and James H. Summers. Jarrod enjoyed doing yardwork for his Mother and being a stay-at-home daddy for Xavier. Jarrod also enjoyed camping, fishing, and working on vehicles. As per his wishes, Jarrod was cremated. There will be a memorial service for the immediate family held at a later date. Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home was in entrusted with arrangements. Memorial donations may be given to his family.
