Jared M. Tarquini

Danville – Jared Michael Tarquini, 42, of Los Angeles, CA, formerly of Danville, IL, passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2025. He was born on March 10, 1983, in Danville to Brad Tarquini and Teresa (Van Buren) Humrichous.

He is survived by his parents, Brad (Tracy) Tarquini of Danville and Teresa (Joe) Humrichous of West Lebanon, IN; two siblings, Andrea (Rob) Tarquini-Williamson and Tyler Tarquini; two step siblings, John Bryant, Jr. and Brandy Harrison; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Victor and Frances Tarquini; maternal grandparents, Charles and Opal Van Buren; step grandmother, Alberta Harper; uncles, Lewie Tarquini and Greg Van Buren; and cousins, Kelly Marie Wiese and Hannah Nicole Winters.

Jared was a 2001 graduate of Seeger High School where he enjoyed competing in wrestling and football and went on to earn his Bachelor of Science degree at Purdue University in 2005. Jared will be remembered as a loving and loyal person who would always greet you with a smile. He was a passionate man and was always in 100 percent with everything he did. His magnetic personality was sure to light up a room and his quick wit and intelligence showed through his desire for conversation and knowledge. Jared had a heart for the underprivileged and the “fringe” members of society and would never hesitate to offer his help to those that needed it. He will be missed by all that knew him.

A service to celebrate the life of Jared Tarquini will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion St., Danville, IL 61834. Pastor Joe Humrichous will officiate. Burial will follow at Hicks Cemetery in Perrysville, IN. Visitation will be held from 4-6 PM on Tuesday, November 18, also at Sunset in Danville, with additional visitation held from 10-11 AM prior to the service on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jared’s name may be made to Marilyn’s Village in Covington, IN.
