Jannette M Vecellio

Jannette M. Vecellio, 76, of Westville, passed away at 1:56pm, Sunday, December 28, 2014, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. She was born on December 21, 1938, in Painesville, Ohio, the daughter of Spencer and Helen {Manley} Sanders. On July 26, 1963, she was united in marriage to Alfred Vecellio in Painesville, Ohio. He will miss her dearly. She is also survived by: her sons, Mark (Debbie) Vecellio of Fairmount & Jeff (Staci) Vecellio of Westville; her daughters, Laura (Dennis Hammond) Lowe of Lafayette, IN & Sherri (Todd Thompson) Clark of Tilton; her grandchildren, Disa Lowe, Ciera Vecellio, Chloe Vecellio, Amber Tucker, Tisha Clark, Alex Vecellio, & Shyanne Clark; her five great grandchildren; her brother, Johnny (Charlene) Sanders of Ohio; her sister, Ida Feke of Madison, Ohio: her special sister-in-law, Glenda (George) Vecellio; and her good friends, Jim & Helen Preston. She was preceded in death by: her parents; her sisters, Betty Clark & Sandy Corrine; her grandson, Dustin Lowe; and her granddaughter, Rhonda Clark. Jannette retired from Westville School District as a cook in 2003. She and her husband, Al, were foster parents for many years and loved taking care of children. She was a member of the Westville American Legion Post #51 Auxiliary and a lifetime member of Life Wellness Club. Most of all, Jannette loved spending time with her family & grandkids. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00pm, Sunday, January 4, 2014, at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, Westville, with Pastor James Blue officiating. A memorial visitation will be held 12pm-2pm prior to her service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given in Jannettes name to the American Diabetes Foundation.
