Janis E Davis

Janis E. Davis, 59, of Ridge Farm, passed away at 8:05pm, December 17, 2011, at her home. She was born on August 3, 1952, in Danville, IL, the daughter of Walter G. and Laura Fern {Whitlock} Davis. Janis worked for Red Lobster in Danville for 20 years. She enjoyed volunteering her time and helping the handicap. She also enjoyed reading in her spare time. She will be missed by: her mother, Fern (Paul) Fortner of Live Oak, FL; her brothers, Glen (Marcy) Davis & Mark J. Davis, both of Old Town, FL; and her sister, Laura J. (Robert) Austin of Ridge Farm. She was preceded in death by her father, Walter. A Memorial Service for family and friends will be held at 1:00pm, Thursday, December 22, 2011, at Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Chapel. As per her wishes, Janis was cremated.
