Janice Ann Parker, 91, of Danville, IL passed away at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville, IL on March 27, 2026 at 6:48 PM.
Janice was born on May 11, 1934 the daughter of Carlyle and Laura Mabel (Feeler) Davis in Camargo, IL. She married Alonzo “Don” Parker on October 15, 1966 in Camargo, IL and he preceded her in death on December 14, 2019.
Survivors include her children, Curtis Parker of Pheonix, AZ, Darrell Parker of Escondido, CA, and Denise Parker of Escondido, CA, three granddaughters, one grandson, six great grandchildren, as well as three siblings, Mary Foster of Georgetown, IL, Judy Irvin of Iowa and Nancy Moore of Georgia and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Janice is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Alonzo “Don” Parker and siblings, Larry Davis, Patsy McQuillin and Sharon Neely.
Janice was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Danville, IL and was a retired Accountant for W. M. Hales Company. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed spending her free time cooking, traveling, playing the piano, working crossword and Sudoku puzzles, bird watching and playing B.I.N.G.O. Most of all, Janice loved her family and church family dearly and will be missed by all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at Calvary Baptist Church, 1632 Georgetown Road, Tilton, IL 61833. Pastor Dan Kitinoja will officiate. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026, from 9-10:00 AM at the church. Burial will be in Danville National Cemetery and Committal Rites will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at Noon at the Danville National Cemetery Committal Shelter.
Memorials may be made in Janice’s memory to Calvary Baptist Church or the Autumn Fields Activities Fund in Danville, IL.
