Janice Lee Ruggles

Janice Lee Ruggles, 62, of Danville, passed away at 11:40 p.m. Tuesday, march 8th, 2011 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home. Janice was born on April 21st, 1948 in Danville, the daughter of Fred William and Mary Catherine (Waltzer) Ruggles. She is survived by a son- Christopher (Christie) Medin of Plainfield, Illinois; three brothers- Roy Ruggles of Danville, Fred W. Ruggles Jr. of Venice, Florida and Michael Ruggles of Venice, Florida; and two sisters- Mary Alyce (Richard) Webb of Fayetteville, North Carolina and Norma Bieles of Gurnee, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew- Thomas Buel. Janice graduated from Danville High School. She worked for the State of Illinois for several years, until she became ill in 1992. She was a member of Ridge Farm United Methodist Church. She enjoyed surrounding herself with friends and family. She was a very caring person that would always brighten your day no matter how she was feeling. She loved and appreciated her two best friends- Franky Basso and Patricia Keller. A graveside gathering will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 15th, 2011 at Sunset Memorial Park. Per Janices wishes she will be cremated.
