Janice Lee Brewer

Janice Lee Brewer, 64, of Tilton, passed away at 6:20pm, Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at her home. She was born on September 11, 1953, in Tuscola, IL, the daughter of Ray and Marilyn {Miller} Gordon. She was married to Bernie Brewer on June 24, 1978, in Georgetown. He will greatly miss her. She will also be missed by: her son, Jerry (Candy) Brewer; her daughters, Vicki (RJ) Adkisson, Lisa (Tim) Jenkins, & Sherrie (Duane) Brewer; her grandchildren, Tim Jenkins Jr., Brittney (Justin) Petticrew, Matthew (Haleigh) Morrison, Paige Milewski, Travis (Colton) Decker, Kyle (Ashley) Brewer, Raquel Nichols; her great grandchildren, Nathan, Jaycie, Aliyah, Brylan, Huckslee, Theo, Christopher, Natalie, & Bentley; her brother, Curt (Marsha) Gordon; her special nephew, Michael (Gina) Gordon; many nieces & nephews; and her very good friends, Phyllis, Debbie, Suzie, Dana, & Valarie. She was preceded in death by: her parents; two brothers; and her son, Troy Brewer. Janice was a loving wife, mother, & grandmother and adored her family. She enjoyed watching St. Louis Cardinals and cooking. She also loved going to lunch with "The Girls". Janice cherished time she spent with her family, especially with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her. A Celebration of Janice's life will be held at 3:00pm, Sunday, June24, 2018, at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, 414 S. State St, Westville. Visitation will be held 12:00pm to 3:00pm on Sunday prior to her service at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Oakridge Cemetery, Catlin.
