Janice Kay Stonecipher

Covington, Ind. - Janice Kay Stonecipher, 63, of Covington, went to be with her Lord at 2:20 a.m. EST Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at St. Elizabeth East in Lafayette, Indiana. She was born November 14, 1950 in Danville, Illinois, the daughter of Robert L. and Rosemary Black Stonecipher. Janice is survived by her mother, Rosemary Stonecipher; brother, Bill(Janet)Stonecipher and nephew, Jason(Melissa)Stonecipher, all of Covington, Indiana; two nieces, Amy(Rob)King of Linden, Indiana and Erin(Dan)Poll of Covington, Indiana; four great nieces, Aubrey; Micah and Reagan Stonecipher and Emma Poll; and one great nephew, Ethan King. Janice was preceded in death by her father on March 26, 1990. Janice was a life member of the First Church of Christ in Covington, where she enjoyed church and her church family. She was also a member of the Friendship Circle Center in Covington. Janice never knew a stranger and she will be missed by her family and friends. Funeral services: 2 p.m. EST Saturday, November 30, 2013 at the First Church of Christ in Covington, Indiana; Officiating: Bill Cook; Burial: Mount Hope Cemetery in Covington; Visitation: Noon until time of services on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at the church.
