Janice Brazeal

Janice Brazeal, 81, of Newport, Indiana passed away on October 1, 2026, at Gibson Hospice in Terre Haute, Indiana. She was born in Williamsport, Indiana on April 2, 1945, the daughter of Howard Hickman and Louise (Treemain) Hickman. They preceded her in death.

Janice attended Seeger High School and then began working at Olin-Mathieson in Covington, Indiana for 22 years as a personal clerk. Janice married Darrel Brazeal on October 25, 1969. He survives. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her husband.

She is also survived by one brother, Darrell (Lilly Mae) Hickman.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 2 p.m. at Thomas Cemetery in Newport, Indiana.
