Janice Brady

Janice Brady, 68, of Georgetown, passed away at 6:20am, Sunday, September 15, 2019, at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center, Danville. She was born on September 26, 1950 the daughter of Thomas and June {Crowder} Donaldson. She was wed to Denzel Dennie Brady in June of 1977 until his passing in 1982.

She is survived by: her daughter, Elizabeth Brady; her stepson, Glenn Brady; her grandchildren, Dohntae Brady & Rionah Brady; and her great grandchild, Kiyan Brady. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Thomas Donaldson; her sister, Marilee Chastan; & stepdaughter, Tina Floyd.

Janice enjoyed crocheting, baking and cooking. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and had served as past president. She loved spending time with her family and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

A celebration of her life will be held at 10:00am, Friday, September 20, 2019 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Georgetown, located at 200 E West Street. Visitation will be held 5:00pm to 7:00pm, Thursday, September 19, 2019 at the funeral home. As per her wishes, she was accorded cremation rites.
